Platypus Dangles - 2025 Advent Calendar - Handmade Acrylic & Metal Earrings

Advent Calendar products are limited edition with limited quantities. These are for preorder ONLY and will be made & shipped in 2026.

How cuuuute are these playful platypus! Swimming along the creek, up and down, among the creek flora. The topper features vibrant aquatic tape grass flowing in the current, with a few bubbles courtesy of the platypus. Did you know: looking out for their bubbles is a good way to spot them!

The platypus is a unique Australian species, grouped in a separate order of mammals known as monotremes. They are distinguished from all other mammals because they lay eggs. The platypus and the echidna (multiple species) are the only monotremes in the world 😍

Important: ADVENT CALENDAR INFO

• Our Advent Calendar products are limited with capped quantities.

• To support the sheer number of Advent Calendar shoppers and our December workload, these products will go into production in January 2026. The only exceptions are Dec 1-3 - these will be made and shipped in December within our Christmas shipping cutoffs.

• Production happens all throughout January, with shipping beginning in February.

• We cannot prioritise Advent Calendar orders. They will be made in the order of release, and if you have ordered multiple times, your order will be sent once we have completed production for all of your items.

• Items purchased with Advent Calendar products will be sent together when the order is ready. We do not advise you purchase any other products alongside Advent products, especially if you need them for Christmas. We cannot split orders.

• There is only one shipping option for Advent orders. Shipping is free to facilitate multiple orders, which is common, and your orders will automatically be combined when we are ready to ship in 2026.

• To support the sheer number of Advent Calendar shoppers and our December workload, these products will go into production in January 2026.

• Shipping will occur throughout February and March 2026.

• Due to the high number of multiple orders, we have FREE Standard Worldwide Shipping for all Advent Calendar products

Sizing

• W: 2cm L: 6cm
• Our earrings typically weigh between 2-4g on average. Our brooches weigh between 3-7g. They are perfect for all-day wear. Check out our reviews for confirmation!

  • Laser cut acrylic, sourced from Australian suppliers and cut by us in house
  • Hypoallergenic surgical stainless steel earring posts or hoops - great for sensitive ears!
  • Optional sterling silver earring posts or surgical stainless steel clip-on backings
  • Quality round plastic/steel comfort earring backs - super secure!
  • Brooches: stainless steel roller catch brooch pin, length varies for each design
  • Silver, gold or black jump rings (depending on the design - see product photos)
