Acrylic Cassowary Hoop Earrings - Statement Bird Earrings
Cassowary Hoop Earrings
The southern cassowary is the largest forest bird in the world, and the second heaviest after the ostrich. They are shy birds living deep in the forest, but they are very territorial and can be aggressive. They are prehistoric looking creatures and absolutely fascinating! It's no wonder they are an adored native Aussie species.
These earrings are made from a variety of beautiful acrylics, including two luscious shades of blue and a textured black with a hint of sparkle. The legs are secured behind the body and have some swinging movement of their own.
Due to the nature of individually handmade items, there may be small imperfections present. Though we have taken care to capture the true colours of each pair, colours may vary on different screens.
