The quetzal is an incredibly unique bird from Central America, and these earrings are just as fabulous! Quetzals are the national bird of Guatemala, and their bright green and red plumage and long, ribbon-like tails are some distinguishing features of these beautiful birds. They represent freedom in traditional Mayan culture, and they are also one of their spirit guides. These are our longest earrings at 10cm, and they dangle beautifully and are just so elegant.
